I have the honor of being part of a new and rare website called Brothers and Their Lovers. It's a m/m slash site that caters to interracial couples, hence the name. The site was created by people who have an interest in mixed pairings. As of right now it's just a few of us but I know there has to be more than just the handful of us. A bunch of ladies and I were discussing fan fiction and what we like and don't like. I said that I liked interracial couples and I don't mind when there is a significant age difference. One lady said that was was discussing and she couldn't get into that kind of kink. She read some stories but it just turned her stomach. I told her that there was nothing kinky about anything I said. She said when two people are not of the same race that is considered a kink and that is why it isn't prevalent in the fan fiction world. Since when?
Do you want to know what her favorite two fan fictions are: Numb3rs (the brothers) and SuperNatural ( the brothers). If that is not a kink then I do not know what is. Her rational why it was okay was that we know that they are not related in real life and that there is a lot of it on the net. The Hell. Just because there is a lot of it in the fan fiction world doesn't mean it's not kinky. And I have nothing against kink. I just thought that the word kink meant something outside the norm. Then she said something left me dumbfounded. She said she bet there were more couples like Don/Charlie (Numb3rs) and Sam/Dean (Supernatural) than there were my couples. The Hell times 2. Okay this conversation was turning kinky. It was time to move on.
